TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
PERMANENT
SALARY UP TO £34k
Our client is a Yorkshire-based manufacturer of fan and smoke extraction systems, ranging from car park ventilation systems to smoke control and tunnel ventilation.
With a nationwide reputation, they have a service division that performs PPM around the UK for their own as well as their competitors' systems.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they require an experienced and technically knowledgeable support engineer to quote and estimate for customers of the service division.
The role is varied, detailed, and integral to the success of the company, and will involve:
* Analysing customer requirements, project specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates.
* Preparing detailed quotations and proposals for service and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with company pricing standards.
* Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and technicians to determine resource needs and timelines.
* Evaluating labour, materials, equipment, and other costs required for project completion.
* Engaging with clients to clarify project details and resolve inquiries about quotations or services offered.
* Providing professional advice and recommendations to customers regarding cost-effective solutions.
* Following up on submitted quotations to secure contracts and gather feedback for future improvement.

You should have a background in a service division of a manufacturing company or be from a similar sales position and want that next step up, as you'll be reporting directly to the divisional manager and be autonomous with your work.
