Vacancy - Bookkeeper
Our client is a well-established bookkeeping company that has over 30 years trading experience. They are a professional Company with an excellent reputation, offering a high-quality service that is personally suited to their clients. They have a new opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who is conversant with Sage 50 Payroll, to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of bookkeeping. The role is office based in Stroud and not a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of accounts to trial balance level
• Handling accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing supplier payments
• Preparing month end management accounts
• Posting of journals
• VAT returns
• Year end
• Preparing and submitting monthly CIS returns, including Domestic Reverse Charge
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple clients
• Previous experience using XERO and Sage is essential
• Experience using Quickbooks Online is desirable
• Payroll experience using SAGE payroll is desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines at any one time
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team when required
• Strong communicator
• Problem-solving skills
