Treasury Manager
About the role
Passionate about treasury? Your next role could involve establishing a strong governance and reporting framework for the cash and treasury function of a growing US Business while based in our Irvine or New York office. You’ll be able to work with our global company on topics such as cash management and strategy, treasury compliance, forecasting, and will also be responsible for managing relationships with our banks.
What you’ll be doing
As the treasury manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the cash portion of the business and its reporting requirements associated with its external borrowings. You will also have the ability to craft processes in relation to cash management and debt compliance forecasting. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
1. Direct Operations: Oversee daily cash administration and manage current accounts.
2. Improvement and Compliance: Review and enhance cash management processes to meet financial obligations according to company policies.
3. Documentation and Communication: Prepare setup documents, correspondence, and proposals related to cash management.
4. Reconciliation and Reporting: Timely reconcile cash transactions, evaluate variances, and generate cash flow reports.
5. Bank Transactions: Monitor balances, investigate unusual items, and facilitate fund transfers as directed by the Financial Controller and/or CFO
6. Wire Transfers and Fees: Approve non-repetitive wire transfers, ensure proper documentation, and review bank and merchant card fees.
7. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits and financial reporting.
8. Compliance: Prepare quarterly compliance reporting and own and manage relationships with the banking group.
9. Forecasting: Collaborate with project teams to forecast future cash flows and forecast covenant compliance.
10. Operational Efficiency: Continuously evaluate procedures to enhance productivity and minimize errors.
11. Credit Card Administration: Manage corporate credit card programs.
What you’ll bring

12. Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Finance/Accounting
13. Over 3 years of experience in corporate treasury or other applicable experience
14. Executive-level written and verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
15. In-depth knowledge of financial modeling
16. Experience in treasury system implementations
