Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Glasgow office 1 day per week for this position.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Credit Risk Specialist to join our Financial Difficulties team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. This role will be key in delivering the transformation of our recoveries function. You’ll have the opportunity to set and optimise strategy, lead on the project delivery and implementation, and contribute towards the Bank's profit and loss.
You’ll have line management responsibility for a small team, alongside the opportunity to learn across the wider Banking Risk team.

1. Developing Recoveries strategy to meet our customer needs
2. Implementing Recoveries strategy safely and efficiently
3. Managing and optimising our Recoveries portfolio
4. Ensuring compliance to relevant regulations
5. Bringing the best of industry practice and applying it to Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc
We need you to have
1. A demonstrable background in developing and optimising Recoveries strategy
2. Great knowledge of industry best practice and applicable regulations
3. A strong customer focus
