Responsibilities include:
1. Support the project team and supply chain to ensure project delivery is in line with contractual, client and EMS requirements (including sustainability assessments such as BREEAM; responsible sourcing; managing environmental risk and pollution; managing biodiversity including dealing with protected species; biodiversity net gain; energy and carbon reduction).
2. Identify environmental risks and opportunities at both pre-construction and delivery stages, engaging project, design and delivery teams to manage them effectively.
3. Obtain necessary environmental consents by liaising with relevant statutory and consenting bodies e.g. Environment Agency, Natural England and Local Authorities.
4. Drive environmental awareness and engage the workforce through the delivery of training and advice.
5. Develop and maintain Construction Environmental and Energy Management Plans (to ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards), ensuring all risks and opportunities are addressed with appropriate mitigation measures.
6. Monitor and report on environmental performance to project leads and the client and conduct regular site inspections.
7. Ensure environmental emergency arrangements are implemented, tested, and managed effectively.
8. Report, investigate, and take corrective actions on any environmental incidents and non-conformance.

10. Actively contribute to pushing the boundaries of sustainability and help us achieve our goal of becoming a net-zero company.
About You:
