Purpose of the Role
Work alongside Medical Devices Training Coordinators to provide both face-to-face and online training on the use of designated medical equipment to current and new clinical staff at all levels, including Bank staff and other support staff as necessary.
Task List
1. Identify medical device training needs for clinical professional users and deliver or facilitate appropriate medical device training in accordance with site-specific contracts and medical device policies and training systems.
2. Supplement original equipment manufacturer (OEM) training for high-risk devices and devices used in acute clinical areas, and act as a liaison between staff and the OEM for support.
3. Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), liaise with managers regarding training delivered to their staff, and compile and distribute monthly training reports to key stakeholders, highlighting clinical areas with underperformance.
4. Provide support for managing the LMS, including devising learning plans and content, and creating competency records for all clinical staff.
