Our client, a respected healthcare provider in Surrey, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join their anaesthetics team. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment and drugs in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Assist the anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and recovery phases of anaesthesia
Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients throughout the perioperative process
Monitor and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless surgical workflows and patient safety
Participate in regular training and development to stay updated with best practices and advancements in the field
Requirements Current HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner
Proven experience in anaesthetics within an operating theatre environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients and multidisciplinary teams
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment
