What skills and experience we're looking for
- Qualified teacher status
- Good honors degree or equivalent
- A track record of successful teaching with evidence of enhancing pupil achievement
- Good ICT skills.
- An ability to be part of a team.
- Evidence of good classroom practice
- Good understanding of effective and engaging teaching methods.
- The ability to engage, enthuse and motivate pupils
- Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4.
- A good knowledge and understanding of current curricular developments in science (including GCSE and NC requirements).
- The ability to plan lessons and sequences of lessons with clear objectives to ensure progression for all pupils.
