Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, there is also an on-call rota.

The Engineer will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise, particularly in electrical systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. They will also have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area - although with an electrical bias.
What will you deliver?
1. Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems, monitor and assess ongoing machine/facility performance, through Planned Preventive Maintenance programme, identifying any additional works required
2. Assist in installing, commissioning, and servicing plant, equipment and industrial furniture
3. The multiskilled duties will include working with Water, AHUs, Electrical work with AP, Generators and work in Plantroom Environments
4. Carry out and assist in planned/reactive maintenance to on site systems
5. Help ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations and helping us to achieve our H&S target
6. Flexible working hours required which may include shifts and overtime working by arrangement
7. Participate in the on-call rota

Who are we looking for?
19. Must have completed an electrical apprenticeship with relevant qualifications
20. Experience in Facilities management and general electrical maintenance
21. NVQ level 3 or equivalent
22. City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring regulations. Will look at 17th edition with opportunity to upskill to 18th edition
23. City & Guilds 2392 - Inspection & Testing or equivalent. (Desirable)
24. Valid UK driving license
25. Candidate must be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services, including; Working with Lighting and Small Power, Low Voltage Electrical Distribution System and Switchgear, Emergency Standby Generators, Fire Alarm Systems, General and Emergency Lighting, Building Management Systems, LTHW Heating Boilers and Pumps, Domestic H&C Water Systems
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
