Introduction
I am a 23-yr old man with Williams Syndrome and multiple heart conditions, and I can become tired very quickly.
I love going to the cinema and theatre along with spending time on my gaming platform. I enjoy being active and getting out and I am looking at getting back into swimming soon. You will be assisting me to have greater independence at home and in the community.
Duties
16 hours per week in total split over 3 days (Monday-Friday)
Working hours 10 am-4 pm (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)
Duties include assisting me in my chosen activities at home and in the community.
Shopping/or assisting with shopping
Running errands, collecting and carrying things on my behalf.
Escorting me to the barbers on a monthly basis.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Rate: £11 per hour
Essential Requirements
An understanding of social care
Patience and good communication skills
Physically fit and healthy to be able to adequately assist me
Enhanced DBS
First Aid Trained
Desired Experience
Experience in this type of work is preferred but not essential, more important is a fun personality, sense of humour and a relaxed attitude.
