Our client is an established and rapidly growing business that specialises in Fire and Security systems across East Anglia. With a strong focus on Fire Protection, they provide services to a wide range of clients, including commercial, retail, public sector, churches, and residential properties. They offer a full suite of Fire and Security solutions, including Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a talented and reliable Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire and Security Engineer to join their team.
About the Role:
As a Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire and Security Engineer, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems across a variety of sectors. While experience in both Fire and Security systems is desirable, the company is happy to provide training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fire Alarm Installation: Complete installations of Fire Alarm systems to the highest standards.
2. Commissioning: Any commissioning experience is a plus, but not essential.
3. Security Systems: Experience in CCTV, Access Control, or Intruder Alarms is beneficial, though full training can be provided.
4. East Anglia Coverage: You'll be covering various locations across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex.
5. Call Out: Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks), but rest assured the call-out frequency is very low — with fewer than 10 call-outs in the last 3 years.
