JOB DESCRIPTION
This newly established role is integral to driving DCYPHER’s social media presence and engaging our audience in innovative, impactful ways. As Senior Social Media Executive, you will take ownership of our organic Instagram and TikTok channels, ensuring that our content is relevant and aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with an in-house Content Creator to deliver social-first content, leveraging trends and insights to drive brand awareness and engagement. Your expertise will ensure that we stay ahead of emerging platforms and trends, positioning the brand as a leader in the social space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Management: Own and manage the organic Instagram and TikTok accounts, developing content strategies that resonate with our audience and align with DCYPHER’s brand and business goals.
Content Briefing & Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house Content Creator to brief and guide the production of high-quality social-first content. Ensure that content is on-brand, visually compelling, and performance-driven.
Platform Exploration: Stay on top of emerging social platforms and trends, exploring new opportunities for the brand to engage with audiences in fresh ways. Proactively recommend platforms for onboarding as new channels of growth.
Campaign Execution & Scheduling: Plan, post, and schedule content in alignment with campaign goals and overall social media and marketing strategy. Ensure consistent and timely execution of campaigns across platforms.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, using data and insights to optimise campaigns and achieve KPIs.
Trendspotting: Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and viral content, quickly adapting briefs and plans to ensure we are always relevant and engaging.
Collaboration with Marketing Teams: Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure social content supports larger campaigns, promotions, and business objectives.
Community Engagement: Working with our Customer Service lead, engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a positive, authentic brand presence online.
Influencer & Partnership Collaboration: Collaborate with our Influencer lead to amplify social content, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.
KEY REQUIREMENT
- A passion for beauty, with experience in the industry highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing organic social media, specifically Instagram and TikTok, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and audience engagement.
- A strong creative eye, with experience in briefing, creating, and executing social-first content.
Ability to stay ahead of trends in the digital space, with a passion for identifying and capitalising on emerging opportunities.
- A data-driven approach to performance analysis, with the ability to adjust plans based on metrics to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing content calendars and ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
