Role Responsibilities:
1. To develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
2. To lead, train, and inspire a sales team, fostering a high performing collaborative environment.
3. To build and maintain strong business relationships with key clients.
4. To undertake direct sales to customers, understanding their product and purchasing needs.
5. To track and analyse sales performance data, providing insights to senior management.
6. To collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support business initiatives.
7. To attend events and exhibitions, participating in promotional activities and brand awareness.
Skills you will need:
Essential:
1. Proven experience as a Sales Manager in a similar leadership role within the agricultural sector.
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
3. Strong leadership skills, able to lead, inspire, and drive a team to excellence.
4. A strong understanding and knowledge of the UK Ag Tech market.
5. Highly organised, with excellent planning skills.
6. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving.
7. Customer-focused, committed to delivering exceptional service.
8. Driven, ambitious, and results-focussed.
9. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
10. Proficient IT skills, experience using CRM systems and analysing data.
11. Full UK driving licence, must be able to travel to events as required.
