An opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Trades & Labour has now arisen to join this exciting and dynamic team.
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
As Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for running a profitable temp desk, supported by the City Calling resourcing team. The role will include proactive business development and account management of clients, plus sourcing of skilled and senior workers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Targeted business development and sales planning
* Making outbound calls to potential clients and building long-term relationships
* Attending meetings with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions
* Sourcing suitable candidates for vacancies using various methods, such as advertising, networking, and referrals
* Working closely with our Resourcing Team, motivating each other to achieve outstanding results
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing excellent service and support throughout the recruitment process
* Attending networking events to drive new business opportunities and solidify existing relationships
* Creating relationships with and managing candidates, providing advice and feedback
* Site visits to check on workforce and liaise with the client
* Working to targets and KPIs, and reporting on your performance and progress
* Negotiating rates and contracts with clients
* Creation of regular social media content and networking, staying ahead of market trends
* Demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry and being a subject matter expert
* Working collaboratively with other companies within the group, and cross-selling group services and products
* Attending and contributing to Group BD Meetings and Team meetings
* Preparing and presenting Sales Reports
* Obtaining market intelligence and staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to influence recruitment strategies
* Ensuring adherence to processes, compliance, and employment law, whilst maintaining accurate candidate and client records in our systems
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Experienced and proven track record in recruitment business development and client management
* Candidate and client networks in Construction, Rail, Energy, or Infrastructure
* Strong negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience of success
* Experience in lead generation
* Previous account management responsibilities
* Strong commercial business acumen
* Effective at planning and organising work
* Demonstrate strong logical and critical thinking
* History of achieving or overachieving KPIs and targets
* The ability to overcome objections and be persistent - resilient and proactive
* Self-motivated and dynamic
