Job Overview
To provide administrative and communications support to enhance our transformation and engagement communications work and increase our reach in the community and our cross site presence.
Responsibilities:
* Provide admin support to the transformation communications team.
* Draft social media posts, including taking pictures/videos of staff to include.
* Support the production of publications for internal audiences, including transformation newsletters, members magazine Together, monthly online magazine The Brief and twice weekly Staff Bulletin.
* Support in event planning and delivery, including bookings and managing RSVPs, to ensure they run smoothly and to plan.
* Design and coordinate screensavers across all sites.
* Update patient information screens across the hospitals.
* Update intranet, website and app with latest news and events.
* Ensure distribution lists for key internal and external audiences, including the media, are up to date.
* Support communications colleagues with campaigns and key projects.
Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* GCSE in English and mathematics or equivalent
Desirable criteria:
* Experience of writing articles, blogs, social media posts.
Experience
Essential criteria:
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
Desirable criteria:
* Experience in an administration/HR function such as bookings, rotas, leave planning.
* Experience of writing material suitable for professional social media, bulletins, screensavers.
Technical skills
Essential criteria:
* Keyboard skills and computer literacy.
Desirable criteria:
* Experience in online content management systems.
Personal attributes
Essential criteria:
* Able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Able to work under pressure with constant interruptions.
