The Business Development, Volunteers, Charity and Communications Team leads on a range of projects to generate income for Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT). This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse and exciting agenda to increase the quality of care to the populations the Trust serves.
Main duties of the job
The Project Co-ordinator will support the delivery of the charity and business development agenda for the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for organising, managing and delivering key elements of a diverse portfolio of projects, providing a coordinated approach to project management.

Job responsibilities
The principle responsibilities of the post are to:
Business Development
* Support with business development opportunities, including writing and preparing bids.
* Act as bid coordinator, working closely with internal colleagues to meet deadlines.
* Act as the first point of contact for commissioners, answering queries and providing information.
* Support Trust colleagues in the mobilisation and/or decommissioning of services.
* Collaborate with system partners to improve HDFT services.
Charity and Volunteers
* Develop project plans for fundraising events in line with the teams Income Plan.
* Engage with stakeholders to build the charity's profile.
* Raise awareness in the local community with community groups and individuals.
* Develop and implement the charity's social media coverage.
* Support internal communications for staff.
* Develop fundraising newsletters and disseminate to supporters.
* Develop content for the Trust's website and social media sites.
* Follow and develop charitable procedures and policies.
* Support with the charity's audit process.
* Provide project support for implementing new volunteering models.
Generic
* Chair regular internal meetings and present at meetings when required.
* Maintain an effective filing system for storing and retrieving information.
* Co-ordinate meetings within the department, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
* Deal with telephone enquiries and manage shared mailboxes.
Person Specification
Experience
* Building relationships and stakeholder management.
* Good standard of written communication.
* Behaves in line with HDFT's KITE values.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum pro rata.
