Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing essential administrative support, and maintaining efficient office procedures. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Duties
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Administration: Provide administrative support to the Engineering team, including filing, document organization, and general office tasks.
2. MRP System Management: Run and maintain the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system for efficient tracking of materials, stock, and production schedules. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
3. Customer & Supplier Communication: Answer phone calls and manage communications with customers and suppliers, providing updates on orders, deliveries, and inquiries.
Experience
1. Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
2. Proficiency in using computerised systems and software, including Excel and Word.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
