Job summary Avon Breast Screening is the largest breast screening programme in the South West, inviting over 60,000 women every year for breast screening. It is one of the National Health Service Breast Screening Programmes (NHSBSP) aiming to save lives through early detection of breastcancer. Approximately 5% of women who have routine breast screening are recalled for a furtherassessment and just under 1% of this cohort go on to have treatment for breast cancer.
