In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Mathematics department, ensuring continued academic success and fostering a love of learning amongst all students. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong pedagogical leadership within the Mathematics department, supporting and guiding colleagues in delivering high-quality lessons. Contribute to the development and implementation of a stimulating and challenging Mathematics curriculum across all Key Stages. Lead on departmental initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate student progress in Mathematics, providing data-driven insights to inform teaching and intervention strategies. Lead, mentor, and coach colleagues within the department, promoting professional development opportunities. The Ideal Candidate A highly qualified Mathematics teacher with a proven track record of success. A minimum of 5 years' experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide colleagues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, students, and parents. A passion for Mathematics and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of curriculum developments.
