Main duties of the job Paediatric Radiology - This role is to provide an expert opinion in cross sectional and general imaging in children and young adults, to lead a variety of MDTs, contribute to general paediatric radiology across the directorate and to supervise, train and support the development of registrars, radiographers and nurses to support the paediatric radiology service. There is enormous scope to develop and pursue a wide range of subspecialty interests and enjoy close working relationships with an extremely supportive clinical team. A successful candidate would participate in a Paediatric Emergency On-Call rota. Newcastle Radiology is an active member of the regional ICS and we are participating in discussion around delivery of a hub and spoke model of Paediatric Radiology service delivery.
