As Senior Marketing Manager, Retail, you’ll assume responsibility for the critical delivery of Costa’s overall growth ambition in the UK retail market. You’ll hit brand and commercial targets by leading integrated marketing plans, local store marketing initiatives, new store openings, and in-store communication (POS and menu boards).

What you’ll do
Being a Senior Marketing Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
* Developing and securing the optimal execution of the UK&I Retail plans, working closely with the UK&I Marketing equity team, global CMO, Operations, Property, Commercial and Finance teams.
* Leading strategic initiatives to enhance the brand's growth in retail, securing cohesive and synergic implementation across activation, comms, in-store executions.
* Leading local store marketing and our new store opening activation strategy at a national and regional level.
* Lead the in-store communication strategy and execution, via the adaptation of the campaign/initiative comms toolkit to POS and digital menu boards.
* Working closely with the Food & Beverage team to define our offer and innovation pipeline. Also working closely with the RGM team to define price and promotion strategy.
* Leading the Costa franchise marketing strategy and executional plans in partnership with franchise teams and partners.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement via the monitoring and measurement of the brand and commercial impact of the marketing and media initiatives in retail.
* Collaborate closely with Global CMO, design teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of brand strategy and guidelines in store
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
* Consumer marketing experience in a dynamic organisation.
* Strong retail experience, preferably in food and beverage Away from Home (casual dining, QRS, food on-the-go).
* Strong experience across range of marketing disciplines, including brand planning, promotions, comms and POS development, digital activations in UK and possibly internationally.
* Leadership of brand building strategy, annual brand planning, campaign phasing and development.
* Understanding of retail marketing, local store marketing and experience in new store openings.
* Understanding of retail operations and executions (franchise and/or equity).
* Campaign and marketing performance management: analysis of all marketing activity, driving efficiencies, and optimising campaigns.
* Very pragmatic, commercial mindset. Understands commercial and profit challenges and turn them into opportunities.
* Ability to lead, coach positively and influence peers, franchise partners and senior stakeholders.
Location: Hybrid - minimum of 2 days per week in Central London Office.
