We are in search of a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in developing AI & ML solutions to join our growing team within Technology that's enables the entire organization. Partnering with our business colleagues you will use advanced analytics and machine learning to identify opportunities across our merchant base, internal technology and product teams, to build impactful solutions deployed on our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical data skills, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth.
What you'll own
1. Collaborate with business partners to understand and document requirements with specific use cases
2. Data analysis through collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets from various sources across the business
3. Identify and evaluate new data sources (internal and external) to support and drive improvements in predictive models
4. Utilize advanced data analytics, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and develop machine learning algorithms to provide business value from data products
5. Implement and deploy models and ML algorithms into a production environment with all the necessary controls in place
6. Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning
8. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, developing reusable patterns
Where you'll own it
You'll own it in our London hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective, collaborating with different teams and offices across the globe.
What you bring
1. Strong knowledge in data science theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, data visualization, and data analysis
2. Experience with data preparation, cleansing, feature engineering and modelling
3. Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python
4. Solid understanding of databases architecture and SQL language
5. Experience in delivering within cloud based data platforms
6. Experience with AWS, Snowflake and Databrick plus other cloud-based environment and tools
7. Experience working in Agile cross-functional teams in a project-based environment
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
9. Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
10. Aware of DevOps and MLOps best practices, and hands-on experience with automation, Github, Docker, CI/CD.
11. Masters degree with 1 years of data science experience or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
