In-House Paralegal – Legal Team Location: Aberdeen Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented commercial Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team in a newly created role. This position will support a team of legal professionals, assisting with a variety of legal and administrative tasks. It is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Contractual & Legal Support: Assist in the initial preparation of internal contractual approvals documentation. Ensure all necessary information is accurately completed for final review and submission. Support compliance and due diligence processes to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in coordinating input for tenders from relevant departments (e.g., Tendering, Insurance, Corporate). Negotiate and review non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other ad-hoc agreements. Legal Research & Training: Conduct legal research and provide summaries or reports on key findings. Assist in the development of training materials and presentations for internal knowledge sharing. Keep the legal team informed of relevant legal updates and industry developments. Identify and coordinate relevant training opportunities for the team. Administrative & Organisational Support Maintain and organise legal filing systems, particularly in SharePoint, ensuring accessibility and accuracy. Assist with drafting and preparing legal documents, letters, and reports. Provide general support for team projects and initiatives as required. Well-developed research and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
