Job summary A full time receptionist position has arisen at Calvary Health Centre working between the hours of 8am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Experience of working in general practice is preferred but not essential. Applicants should be computer literate, and must have the ability to use own initiative and prioritise the essential work. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness as and when required is a must. The post is a permanent postition, subject to satisfactoy references and required employment checks approriate to the post and a successful 6 month probation period Main duties of the job Duties include but aren't limited to:- Receive ,assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous ,efficient and effective way. Provide general reception and administrative duties as part of a team team. Provide a helpful and friendly service to patients. Answer the telephone promptly ensuring that all in coming lines are covered at all times.
