Job Description
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to students
* Create lesson plans and educational materials tailored to the curriculum requirements
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or related subject
* Relevant degree in Food Technology or a related field
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
Experience:
* Proven experience teaching Food Technology in a school setting
* Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students in the subject
Knowledge and Skills:
* Comprehensive understanding of the food technology curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or Food Technology
* Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school environment with regular school hours
* Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings
