We offer a wide range of career opportunities at every level of the organisation. From apprenticeships to senior management, permanent to fixed term contracts or part-time working, we have something for everyone.
We are looking for a Digital Content and Social Media officer to join our busy in-house marketing and communications team.
Promoting all the council’s services, you will focus on writing, editing and maintaining clear, accessible content on our website, repurposing it for our social media and internal platforms.
With a creative flair and a keen eye for detail, you will ensure accessibility across all channels of communication, correcting and fixing web content, and communicating in plain English.
The website is crucial to improving the customer journey, and by working alongside our ICT team, you will analyse our regular website surveys, as well as collating analytics and customer insight from our social media channels to recommend improvements.
If you’re a team player, looking for your next challenge, then we’d love to hear from you.
We have a hybrid way of working, but this role does involve regular and ad-hoc requests to attend and support events and activities in the local community as well as regular office-based meetings alongside colleagues.
