The shift pattern for this position is 37 hrs/4 compressed. The Audiology Service provides a highly specialist clinical, rehabilitative and technical support to patients referred to the service via various routes. The role of the band 5 Audiologist is to deliver audiology support for work of a mostly routine nature. Your main duties will be: Routine audiological assessment. Rehabilitation of patients. Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients. To provide support to the Team Lead to achieve service objectives, waiting times targets and implement work programmes. To undertake CPD and developmental opportunities. The work undertaken can be delivered via numerous locations including large district general hospitals, health centres, community hospitals, nursing homes and patient homes; your location for duty may vary to suit the needs of the service. It is essential that you hold an Audiology BSc or equivalent such as BAAT Parts 1 & 2 with NC Physiological Measurement and can demonstrate some post-qualification experience. Full registration with The Academy for Healthcare Science (RCCP) is essential for this post. You will be employed for 37 hours per week over 4 days and working patterns may change to suit the needs of the service.
