This is a temporary agency contract with the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care. Key Details: Location: Cambridgeshire various community and acute settings Contract Type: Full-time Monday to Friday Hourly Rate: £27 per hour Ltd Payment Terms: Weekly payments via an umbrella company Role Responsibilities: Work as an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload. Undertake holistic assessments of patients with acute, complex, and multiple pathologies, using specialist clinical reasoning skills. Support the acute NHS Trust in Emergency Departments, Acute Assessment Units, and other areas to prevent hospital admissions and expedite safe discharges. Supervise and support junior staff, students, Assistant Practitioners, and Integrated Care Workers to deliver high-quality care and achieve competencies. Conduct risk assessments, ensuring health and safety standards are met. Provide adaptive equipment, rehabilitation programs, and therapy interventions to promote independence and reduce hospital stays. Engage patients and carers in care decisions, keeping them at the center of the care plan. Work independently in community settings, with access to Advanced Practitioners as needed. Essential Requirements: Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Nursing e.g., BSc, MSc, or Diploma. Registration: Current HCPC or NMC registration. Experience: Relevant post-graduate clinical experience in acute and community settings. Skills: Clinical supervision, evidence-based practice, and excellent time management.
