An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client for an experienced and qualified Human Resources Advisor to provide advisory and operational HR support. Supporting the People & Development Manager, you will work in a busy customer-facing team with responsibility for the co-ordination and support of end-to-end recruitment and selection activity. In addition, you will provide day-to-day support and advice relating to terms and conditions of employment, training and development, HR policies and procedures and employee relations matters. You will have significant experience in an HR Advisor role with demonstrable ability in the provision of pragmatic and solution-focussed HR advice and guidance. You will have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of HR best practice and a thorough understanding of the practical application of UK employment law. You will also have sound and recent experience of managing and bringing to successful conclusion informal and formal HR casework (disciplinary, grievance, attendance, capability). We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in the charity sector with the flexible ‘can-do’ attitude to effectively contribute to the team from day one. This role involves county-wide travel to attend meetings, and therefore the ability to travel across a wide geographical area is essential. Driving licence essential and access to a car. 1-2 years employee relationship experience and training skills required.
