Business Administration Apprentice - Portsmouth
Permanent – 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) Salary: Competitive (subject to knowledge and experience)

Corrigenda are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice. The ideal candidate will be passionate, proactive, eager to develop their skills and take pride in their work.
Job Summary
This role involves supporting the team with coordinating and managing customer service requests and acting as first line support for clients via telephone, email and online portals. The Business Admin Apprentice will ensure that queries are responded to in a timely manner, as well as providing great customer service to our clients. The Business Admin Apprentice will work towards their Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Key Responsibilities and Development Areas Include:
1. Initial handling and logging of various client requests via telephone, email or online portals
2. Generating jobs on the Corrigenda CAFM system
3. Raise and issue purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
4. Processing and inputting worksheet information correctly onto our system
5. Liaise with and provide feedback to customers on the progress of jobs
6. Liaise with external contractors
7. Relaying instructions to engineers and collating details of works in progress
8. Liaise with contract managers and engineers to ensure effective communication
9. Updating client portals
10. Assist with arranging site access & appointment bookings with clients
11. Answering the phone in a timely manner and directing calls / taking messages accordingly
12. Other general administrative duties
13. Assist with other work activities when required and provide team cover during holidays/sickness
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Person Profile:
1. A minimum of C/4 grade in English and Math (or equivalent)
2. Great attention to detail
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to work as part of a small team to become a ‘Team Player’ whilst demonstrating initiative and ability to work independently
5. Confident when speaking on the phone with a pleasant manner
6. Well organised and able to prioritise workload
7. IT literate – must be confident in all Microsoft Office Packages
