Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Ward Clerks based at University Hospital Crosshouse. These are fixed-term posts for 12 months.
What you will do:
You will work within the Clinical Assessment Unit reception area, providing clerical and reception services, including receiving patients and members of the public as they arrive at the hospital. Responsibilities include maintaining and filing patient confidential records, recording patient-related data, managing admissions and outpatient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answering telephones, and relaying messages.

Knowledge, training, and experience requirements:
* The ability to work flexibly to meet service demands.
* SVQ Level 2 in administration or an equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
Hours:
Post 1: Fixed-term, 12 months, 23.96 hours per week.
Post 2: Fixed-term, 12 months, 23.82 hours per week.
