Building on the success of our new integrated training scheme for Band 6 pharmacists, we are delighted to offer opportunities working in cross-sector posts, combining a role in GP practices with hospital wards/departments with future opportunities to review sector specific roles. These posts will be patient-centred and will give you the opportunity to develop your clinical and technical skills in practice. You will receive support from an educational supervisor, and the wider pharmacy team, as well as peer support from other Foundation pharmacists. Successful applicants will be supported to complete the RPS Post Registration Foundation Training programme which equips pharmacists with a broad range of core skills via completion of learning outcomes, to become clinical practitioners. This course is inclusive of the independent prescribing qualification.
