As EHAAT's pharmacy evolves, we recognise the benefit that a qualified pharmacist will bring in helping to guide internal pharmacy decisions that directly impact patient care. EHAAT recognises that both pre-hospital and in-hospital best practice would be to integrate pharmacists across a range of areas including, but not limited to, medicines management, medication incident reporting and control drug policy/accountability. Main duties of the job The purpose of the role is to provide advice, guidance and support to the charity in a number of situations, including operations, management, clinical, quality improvement, risk management, research and education. The post holder will be an integral part of the EHAAT clinical delivery team supporting excellence in medicines use, medicines safety, medicines governance and innovation. Responsible for dissemination and actioning of drug recall alerts relating to medicines on EHAAT formulary and for reporting adverse drug reactions to the MHRA. Supervise any EHAAT project work related to medicines and support the use of clinical trial investigational medicinal products. Contribute to authorship as well as timely review and update of EHAATs policies and SOPs relating to medicines.
