We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and results-driven sales professional to join our established Equipment Hire & Sales team. This is a brand-new role and a fantastic chance to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, where you will play a vital role in driving growth across both existing and new markets.
The company is well established in the Metrology / 3D Data Capture sector and respected within the industry. We are operating within many industries (Including Aerospace, Construction, Automotive, Manufacturing, Engineering, Heritage, Energy, Petrochemical etc.) providing an unrivalled service to some of the largest blue-chip organisations in the UK.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with both prospective and existing clients, and helping to grow the equipment hire and distribution side of the business. You will work closely with the internal team as well as collaborate with a market-leading technology company & measurement equipment manufacturer. Together we seek to offer cutting-edge 3D measurement solutions to our customers.
Our office is located in South Yorkshire, though we offer our services to the whole of the UK market. The role will be predominantly office-based, though you will be required to travel for site visits on occasion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a full understanding of our product offerings and the market.
2. Plan & prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets.
3. Generate new leads and opportunities that precede equipment demonstrations delivered by our technical team.
4. Lead generation via LinkedIn, Google, e-mails, phone and other appropriate methods.
5. Expanding opportunities within existing client organisations.
6. Maintain and develop new customers through appropriate sales methods.
7. Presenting, negotiating, and closing contracts with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
8. Deliver a high-quality service, increasing business growth and customer satisfaction.
9. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
10. Log information on calls and update all customer records on our CRM system.
11. Any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven track record of success in sales & or business development.
2. A drive, commitment and passion for success and exceeding sales targets.
3. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
4. Proven time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
5. Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming challenges.
6. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
7. A knowledge of CRM systems would be beneficial
8. Experience in similar organisations, industries or sectors would be beneficial.
9. A full UK driving licence is a necessity.
