Our Client is looking for a M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer to based at a Luxurious Complex located in South West London. The successful candidates will be Electrically or Mechanical biased with a proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, you will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance within the complex. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training and career progression.
You will be working for a large maintenance contractor in the building of blue chip companies; as such you must be client facing with good communication skills. This vacancy is working full Continental Shift Pattern

Responsibilities:
7. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules as directed by the site supervisor.
8. To undertake PPM activities in a professional & safe manner
9. Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or Management Team
10. Production of technical and situational reports as required
11. To communicate clearly and effectively with the client’s team and support the Site Supervisor as necessary
12. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
13. Proactively assist the site supervisor to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information when extra works are identified
14. To update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site CAFM System
15. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems.
16. To ensure that both Client and contractors Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
17. Attend team meetings/briefings as requested
18. To provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time
19. To proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a positive approach
20. To escalate any major site issues or incidents to the site supervisor asap once identified
21. To manage sub-contractors whilst working on site
22. Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed
23. To issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work Systems.
24. Deputise in the absence of Shift Leader
Requirements:
25. City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical installation) or recognised equivalent
26. 17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalent
27. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services
28. Experienced in Electrical Installation including Electrical Testing & Inspection
29. L8 Training and a good understanding of domestic water systems Experience
30. Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment
31. A good working knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration
32. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge
33. Experience in managing PPM management systems
34. Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification
35. Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment within high-end commercial/mixed developments
