Amazon Games is looking for a Community Manager to lead the community strategy and tactics for our forthcoming AAA racing game, developed by Maverick Games.
You will have a passion for connecting the people who play video games with the people who make them. This role comes with a great opportunity to lead and scale our global community plans for one of the next titles in Amazon Games' growing portfolio.
Key job responsibilities
1. Contribute to the global community strategy to build and foster engaged communities for our forthcoming racing game developed by Maverick Games.
2. Build and maintain a world-class feedback loop between the people playing the game and the people making the game.
3. Work with stakeholders and leadership to deliver valuable customer and business insights.
4. Monitor, evaluate, and create actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative data.
5. Work closely on supporting the core team across social and editorial creative ideation and execution.
6. Help shape design and product change discussions, leveraging the deep understanding of a player perspective and product/gameplay expertise.
7. Foster a positive, constructive, and communicative community of players that feel heard and appreciated.
8. Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion, both for our players and to inform our games.
9. Act as the voice of the game team on our official channels.
10. Immerse yourself in car culture, and build relevant community programs to attract and engage this audience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in the Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops).
2. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
3. Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
4. Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.
5. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
6. Experience in marketing or marketing research.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs.
2. Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.
