MSK Therapies Reception Team Co-ordinator
We are looking for an approachable and enthusiastic Reception Coordinator to join our busy MSK Therapies Team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting a team of Receptionists across our various sites in East Sussex and will also be expected to provide Reception cover at these locations, as required.
The role will involve the support and supervision of the Reception Team to help provide a professional and effective service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that reception cover is provided for all sites, including Conquest, Bexhill, EDGH, Amberstone, Lewes, Newhaven, Uckfield and will be responsible for work allocation and act as the first point of escalation for any queries.
They will also support with the training and development of the Reception Team, ensuring that all standard operating procedures are being followed.
To demonstrate good communication and customer service skills, showing empathy and care to service users who may be distressed or in pain or have impairment that affects their communication.
Attend and participate at team meetings and department meetings as requested.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) to include English and Maths at Grade C or above
Experience
* Previous experience of working in an administration environment
* Experience of managing clinical diaries
* Experience of working to strict RTT/KPIs
* Previous experience of managing administration staff
Skills
* Good interpersonal skills, effective communication with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, ability to develop and motivate staff
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
* Shows willingness to plan and adapt to change
* Working knowledge of information governance issues and Datix reporting
