Job summary To provide an effective and comprehensive school nursing service to a defined population that meets the needs of the local community in line with the Health Child Programme. To provide and manage a defined caseload, using a public health approach to provide and maintain a high quality service that promotes the physical and mental health of the Youth Offending Service & Electively home schooled children. To provide health screening/surveillance, health promotion and to support the health needs of any young people within the caseload as well as participating in the safeguarding process.
