An exciting opportunity has become available at Aramark UK to work as a General Manager on-site at one of our key clients in the UK. This permanent role involves working weekdays and some weekends and is responsible for developing and executing strategies, advocating for clients, encouraging dedication, driving engagement, and delivering positive financial results.
You will report to our Regional Director of Operations and own the main prisoner catering and staff mess provision. This role will ideally start in November, pending MOJ vetting.

Job Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the sites and respective teams.
* Adhere to set annual budgets for sites and achieve them.
* Maintain financial information systems as required by Aramark and the client.
* Support with menu planning and stock management.
* Implement and maintain appropriate procedures on-site as outlined by HR, Q&S, Internal Audits.
* Assume overall responsibility for Quality and Safety compliance on-site.
* Monitor and evaluate site performance and productivity.
* Maintain good communications and working relationships with clients, key customers, and staff.
* Consistently review financial and operational performance of contracts to ensure the achievement of all business and financial targets.
* Identify opportunities at site level and investigate potential.
* Manage recruitment, training, and development of management teams on-site and provide regular feedback on performance.
* Attend operations/management meetings as required.
* Follow all client security procedures.
Key Requirements:
* Experience operating as a General Manager in a contract catering/facilities business.
* Ability to lead a team to success and drive standards.
* Experience managing a P&L and associated finances.
