Construction Project Manager ¦ Bicester Village ¦ Contract Full time
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Something Extraordinary
Every Day The Construction Project Manager will provide project management services to deliver real estate projects to health and safety standards, programme requirements, budget requirements, and quality standards whilst mitigating risk and seeking opportunities for improvement. This role is hybrid and you will be required to work on site at Bicester Village a minimum of 4 days a week.
What you will be doing
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following:
1. Responsible for small to medium sized development projects across the Village including brand, customer, and staff facing projects, as well as maintenance projects. This includes full-scale responsibility (RIBA Stages 0-7) and stewarding projects through the internal approvals process.
2. Ensure delivery of projects to an excellent standard and in accordance with both Value Retail policies and procedures and government legislation.
3. Active and onsite management of delivery of a project in accordance with the brief and scope.
4. Management of a project’s programme and budget (including change management).
5. Solve problems that arise in order to mitigate issues that may adversely impact the project.

1. Qualifications in Project Management and H&S desirable. Or interest in obtaining relevant qualification.
2. Ideally have 5 years’ experience in a project management role.
3. Understanding/appreciation of luxury retail and/or hospitality environments (to support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience).
4. Experience adopting and achieving sustainability/ESG targets within the built environment.
5. Experience in setting up projects with the required structure (including but not limited to internal & external project teams, responsibilities, approvals process, meetings, communication strategy, etc).
