In 2013 I wanted a complete career change. I joined a different support company initially, but only stayed for a year because I felt the individuals could be supported much better if different approaches were adopted. I found it difficult to persuade those around me so I started looking for another company that would have more inclusive approaches, promoted independence and gave opportunities for people to live they lives they choose. I found Thera East Anglia and I immediately felt this was a place that was promoting all these things. I have been here ever since.
