We are looking for a full-time experienced Money Advice Caseworker to join our Financial Inclusion Team. You will be working for our Financial Inclusion programme and focus on supporting Orbit customers both telephone and face to face exclusively with:
1. Money / debt advice with income maximisation
2. Welfare benefits advice and take-up work
3. Energy Advice and Support
Case work is expected to help navigate the customer through a full journey; including dealing with urgent dent issues, developing and maintaining a budget, maximising their incomes/reducing expenditure and Energy advice and issues.

We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication skills
Can complete tasks to the highest quality
Is experienced in working with a diverse range of people and providing a welcoming environment for clients
Has an understanding of the issues affecting society and their implications for clients and service provision
Is in possession of a full driving licence and use of a car, or otherwise able to fulfil the travel requirements necessary
Responsibilities / Key Tasks:
Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities
To interpret information and present options to clients
Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate
To maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in undertaking all areas of responsibilities

The essentials:
Salary – £23,323 – £26,303
Hours – 37.5 hrs/wk
Hybrid Working – min of 1 day working from our Outreach Venue in and around Norwich area NR1 1QE with occasional travel to Gorleston. The role also requires travel to our Offices for face-to-face team meetings once every quarter (expenses paid in accordance to our travel policy)
Terms: fixed term contract until 31 March 2026 with possible extension depending on funding
