PM177553 - Newly Graduated Midwives (band 5) and Midwives (band 6)
NHS Grampian are recruiting motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join us working across the Maternity Service, delivering high quality, person centred care in line with our organisational values. Posts are available with a variety of working hours (full & part time), for both experienced and newly graduated midwives (NGMs).
You will have the ability to work effectively within busy teams, who care for people with diverse health and social care needs, working in collaboration with other health related agencies. NHS Grampian has a strong commitment to provide support for all midwives. NGMs will be provided with a structured development programme and preceptorship. The aim of this programme is to provide a broad base of experience with post graduate development opportunities across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. This structured progression route provides the opportunity to consolidate your learning and develop knowledge, skills and competence in a supportive environment. It will also prepare you for new ways of working as some of the service transitions in preparation for the move to the Baird Family Hospital and the development of Continuity of Carer teams. All NGM’s will also be supported to complete Flying Start and will be invited to our Connect 5 Forum.
For those wishing to commence employment in 2024, interviews will be held via MS Teams on the 27 September 2024. For those wishing to commence employment early 2025, interviews will be in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital on 28 November 2024 at our Recruitment Open Day. The option of a MS Teams interview is available.
