We are looking for a Patient Pathway Support Clerk who can help us deliver an efficient, high-quality medical records service across the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate. This role is essential to providing safe care to our patients by ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location.
Main duties of the job
The post requires an efficient, caring and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care.

Person specification
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Grade C or above
* Experience of working with IT software systems
* Higher Education
* Previous experience of working within the NHS
* Previous experience of working on a reception desk
