Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Branch Sales Support/Internal Sales Person to join our well-established and experienced team at our Leeds-Bradford branch. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. Working hours : 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. (Additional working hours may be required) Responsibilities for Branch Sales Support/Internal Sales will include: Working within a small team Engage with our customers via incoming calls & email Provide a personable and professional service, usually under pressure. Manage ‘Tickets' on the in-house ERP system, ensuring a high level of organization. Ensuring customer queries and issues are followed through until completion. Liaising with Hayley HQ Accounts team and other Hayley colleagues as appropriate Achieve profitable sale of goods across the product range, up-selling as appropriate Build rapport with customers, establishing credibility when providing product and service information Utilise Hayley's bespoke IT system to accurately identify, source and price items; to accurately record enquiries and orders, invoices and other documentation Undertake ad hoc purchasing tasks, including placing orders with suppliers Sales and purchasing admin support including accurate filing and retrieval of documentation Support the warehouse by undertaking duties including picking product for customer orders, ensuring accurate picking and stores management To undertake other similar or associated duties as may be assigned to you Comply with Health & Safety procedures and instructions Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Branch Sales Support/Internal Sales Person: Experience within the MRO industry would be ideal, even better if hydraulics related, however not essential as full training will be provided. Knowledge of engineering products and processes is desirable. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Professional level of verbal and written communication skills, as well as good numerical skills Willing and able to learn about and support new products Proficient in basic computer applications Customer focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service Be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
