About the role:
You will be motivated by the opportunity to shape, secure and deliver new development and work alongside our exceptional master-planning, urban design, mapping and graphic communications teams. At David Lock Associates, you will have the chance to apply creative thinking and problem-solving to deliver great places and secure new development. We are looking for planners with relevant experience in either the private or public sector who can demonstrate expertise in:
1. Preparation and negotiation of development proposals, with a focus on residential-led, commercial, or mixed-use planning applications.
2. Negotiating planning permissions, conditions, and s106 agreements.
3. Engaging in policy and plan-making activities.
4. Shaping promotion strategies to support development projects.
5. Collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating design and engineering outputs to get development on the ground.
