Job Description
* Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for the company.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
* Prepare reports summarising payroll expenses for the Accounting & Finance department.
* Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments).
* Coordinate with HR to verify employee data and resolve discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
* Supervise and coach a team of payroll clerks.
* Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a payroll manager.
* Comprehensive knowledge of payroll software systems and procedures.
* Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent customer service.
