Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineering Manager to join our team at Tech Connect Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring our products and systems meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards.
About the Role
* You will lead efforts to identify and analyze regulations across multiple markets (UK, EU, and US), defining essential requirements and communicating effectively with design engineers.
* Your primary focus will be on promoting safety and environmental requirements within the company, supporting the development of compliant and eco-friendly products that align with our sustainability goals.
* You will oversee the requirements process from start to finish, collaborating closely with systems and design engineers to ensure all engineering activities meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with UK, EU, and US regulatory environments, including CE and UKCA marking.
2. Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including test reports, technical files, and declarations of conformity.
3. Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions to improve product integrity.
4. Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain certifications, especially in sustainability and environmental protection.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
* 5+ years of experience in a compliance or safety engineering role, ideally in renewable energy, automotive, or transport refrigeration.
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
* Experience working with design engineers, project managers, and other teams throughout the product lifecycle.
What We Offer
* An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
