Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mobility industry or be a qualified mechanic with auto electrical knowledge. Would also be required to spend time in the office, to be able to cover annual leave with in the office. Additional training will be provided if required.
Duties include fitting of vehicle adaptations. Work will be carried out in our workshop and on a mobile basis. A company van will be provided once fully trained for mobile work only.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems and assess performance.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles, including parts used and time taken.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair processes.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
Requirements
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driving licence is essential.
