We're on the lookout for AutoCAD Designer to join our well-established and respected client based in Leicester (LE18) on a full-time, permanent basis.
Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday and 07:00 - 13:00 on Friday.
The Role:
As an AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for producing and interpreting technical designs and drawings for the client's interior fit-out business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and produce high-quality CAD drawings and designs for custom joinery projects, ensuring precision and alignment with client specifications.
* Create 2D and 3D models and visualisations to assist in project presentations and client meetings.
* Develop production-ready technical drawings.
* Work closely with clients and the production team to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate designs.
* Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proven experience as a CAD Technician with a minimum of 3 years experience.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
* Strong understanding of joinery techniques.
* Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
